What you'll doIn a few wordsThe Human Resources Manager provides human resources consultation and support to the organization.
Uses working knowledge of the company culture, mission, and systems to provide HR guidance to team members and managers.
Acts as liaison with all other HR functions.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for recruiting, organizational projects, culture, and team member development/engagement.
This position works directly with Director of Human Resources and backs up any duties of that position.
RequirementsThis position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a leader for the organization.
Responsible for prescreening resumes and scheduling interviewsPerforms phone screens and evaluates candidates for best skill and culture fitInterviews candidates and leads them through hiring processParticipates and helps to lead organizational culture activitiesParticipates and performs New Hire OrientationMaintains and enhances a best in class new hire experienceSupports the team with a servant mentality for any HR related questions or problemsHelps to ensure employment laws are followed and reporting guidelines are metAssists in the preparation of government reportingHR metric reportingOversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigationsWorks with department leaders on team member challenges/opportunities Administers leave and maintains compliance with Human Resources lawsLeads the performance review process for the organizationAssists in ideas for strategic direction related to team member initiatives and culture activities Networks with HR professionals to provide creative ideas for the organization and cultureServes on the culture committeeHas a pulse on team member engagement and culturePerforms other duties as assigned Education:
Minimum of 5 years of HR experience in multiple areas, serving people, hiring, HR systems, and compliance.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
SHRM-CP and/or PHR preferred.
Experience/Knowledge:
Excellent verbal and written communication skillExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policiesAbility to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factorsExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesProblem solving skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software(Paylocity Preferred)About the Company:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
